Rescue workers evacuated a swimming pool in Recklinghausen because of a fire. For reasons that have not yet been clarified, a machine on the upper floor of the building caught fire on Saturday afternoon. About 100 people had to leave the bath. When the fire brigade arrived, swimming and exercise in the indoor pool had already stopped and the building had been largely cleared. Two of those affected were medically examined on site, but remained unharmed. The extent of the damage was not yet known.
