The Latvian conductor and music director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Andris Nelsons, will conduct the Berliner Philharmoniker's end-of-season concert next year at the Waldbühne. "For the second time, Andris Nelsons will lead through an unforgettable evening under the starry sky," announced the organizer, Concert Concept, on Wednesday. The opera tenor Klaus Florian Vogt is also expected to make his debut for the Philharmonic. The ensemble should perform pieces from Weber's Freischütz and Strauss' Till Eulenspiegel. The final concert is scheduled for June 23rd. Advance sales begin on Thursday.
