The president of the Diputación de Alicante, Carlos Mazón, has received the Intercity Football Club at the Provincial Palace, which on Sunday certified its promotion to First RFEF in a heart-stopping last day in which the grand prize was played against La Nucía in Camilo Cano.

The event was also attended by the president and vice president of CF Intercity, Salvador Martí and Perfecto Palacio, respectively, the sports director, Quique Hernández, the technical secretary, Paco Peña, and the CEO, Antonio Gallego. Intercity was born in 2017 and in just five years it has achieved four category promotions.

Carlos Mazón recalled that, thanks to the joint work of the Alicante Provincial Council and the Royal Spanish Football Federation, the province will be the scene of the matches corresponding to the promotion for promotion to First RFEF the next two weekends.

The Rico Pérez, Camilo Cano, Ciudad Deportiva Camilo Cano, El Collao, Nuevo Pepico Amat and Guillermo Amor will be the venues for these matches, in which three other teams from the province are now playing, such as Hércules, La Nucia and Eldense.
