Inflation bonus: how to claim the payment of the 100 euros?

PREMIUM INFLATION. The payment of the inflation bonus has been closed since February 28, but a government site now allows you to claim the compensation.

[Updated April 29, 2022 at 10:33 a.m.] Still haven't received your inflation bonus even though you ticked all the boxes to get it? A government site is now available to all those forgotten about the compensation of 100 euros, or 1.3 million French people. Problem, new malfunctions have recently appeared on this platform, and in particular a "Error 404" when entering the login credentials. A hiccup that mainly affects the self-employed, self-employed and artists. A problem that is still not resolved, almost two months after the closing of the automatic payment of the inflation bonus. Here is the procedure to follow to try to obtain reimbursement of your inflation check on the dedicated government site:

To try your luck, here is the procedure to follow on the government website. First of all, you must connect to the Mesdroitssociaux.gouv.fr portal. Once you arrive on the site, a button "Connect to make a request" is offered to you, click on it. Then, bring the identifiers that you use either for Pôle Emploi, Health Insurance, MSA or the Post Office. It's up to you, and they all work. The platform now offers you to fill out a short form with your personal information. Thanks to these, it can determine in real time whether you have already received the compensation of 100 euros or not. If this is not the case, you will be asked to fill in your bank details. Once this step is over, you're done. You just have to wait about ten days after the complaint to benefit from the 100 euros in your bank account.

The Inflation Bonus payout has faced various issues since its launch in December 2021. Many potential recipients have still not received it despite meeting all the criteria. In particular employees of private employers on sick leave as of October 31 or jobseekers removed from Pôle Emploi, subsequently taken care of by Social Security.

From now on, a site dedicated to claiming the inflation bonus exists. The Government has been working on it for a good month, and this brand new platform has now come out of the ground since Monday, March 28, 2022. To file a complaint, you will have to follow several steps. First, log on to the government site using your Pôle Emploi credentials, for example. You will then have to fill in your RIB and the refund should be made within 10 days of the request.

The inflation allowance will be paid to people whose activity or replacement income is less than €2,000 net per month. It will be granted to persons receiving allowances and social benefits. The list of the main categories of beneficiaries is as follows:

The bonus of 100 euros is granted on an individual basis. In other words, the composition of the household is not taken into account to determine eligibility for inflation compensation. Thus, a couple can receive up to 200 euros, i.e. 100 euros each or only 100 euros if only one of the spouses meets the income conditions (read below). In total, 38 million French people will benefit from the 100 euro inflation check.

But who is affected? To determine eligibility for the inflation allowance, the government has set a ceiling: French people who earn less than 2,000 euros net per month - before application of the withholding tax - are therefore concerned, regardless of their status and their profession. To determine the reference salary, the executive has chosen the month of October 2021. Would you like to know more about the bonus of 100 euros? Linternaute.com answers all your questions.
