A motorcyclist fell on the federal highway 251 near Brilon in Sauerland on Saturday and was critically injured. The 52-year-old crashed into the guardrail with her machine in a long curve in the late afternoon, the police said on Sunday. She was taken to the hospital in a rescue helicopter. It was initially unclear how the accident happened.
