The Civil Guard has found the body of two brothers, residents of Calahorra, in the Lodosa Canal, at kilometer 45 of the LR-115, in the municipality of Aldeanueva de Ebro. They are a man and a woman of 86 and 93 years respectively.

At 7:38 p.m. today, the Civil Guard received a call from an individual warning that he was seeing what appeared to be two bodies floating in the Lodosa Canal. Personnel service patrols at the scene have located the two bodies.

The Civil Guard has notified SOS RIOJA of the discovery. Emergencies have mobilized the Sanitary Resources of the Rioja Health Service and the CEIS Firefighters, in turn alerting the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation.

Subsequently, the Funeral Services have been mobilized, which have transferred the two people, deceased, to the Institute of Legal Medicine.
