FSV Mainz 05 drew the most difficult of all lots for the round of 16 in the DFB Cup. Bo Svensson's team will face series champions FC Bayern Munich in the round of 16. But Mainz have home rights, as the draw in Dortmund on Sunday evening showed. Mainz could reach the quarter-finals for the first time in five years, but will go into the game against Munich as a clear outsider. During the week Mainz had prevailed at VfB Lübeck. The four dates for the round of 16 are: January 31st, February 1st, February 7th and February 8th.
