Kleiton Alves, a lumber dealer who has adorned his car with a large Brazilian flag, says: "I vote for Bolsonaro because he is for the industrial development of the Amazon."

The second interviewee, a gold miner named Jailson Mesquita, says: "Bolsonaro is our man. He wants to open up the rainforest for all Brazilians, for us gold miners, for agriculture, for the timber industry, not just for the Indians."
