The man the CDU now wants to get rid of was once Germany's top constitutional protection officer. You always have to keep that in mind. It was his task to defend the free democratic basic order in Germany. What you should avoid as far as possible: Taking extreme political positions yourself. Ultimately, this blinds you to potential threats.
