Former New Mexico senator Tom Udall is now the U.S. Ambassador to Samoa and New Zealand. On Tuesday, the Senate confirmed Udall's appointment along with three others.

Udall was a member of both the Senate and House of Representatives for two terms. He also served five terms in Congress.
