The German weather service has issued an official warning against the heat. It is expected in many Parts of the country, a high heat load - it's only in the South that is currently a few regions, for which there is no heat warning applies. Affected are the following regions:

• Baden-Württemberg - except parts of Swabia
• Berlin
• Brandenburg
• Bremen
• Hamburg
• Hesse
• Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, with the exception of the Baltic sea coast
• lower Saxony
• North Rhine-Westphalia
• Rhineland-Palatinate
• Saarland
• Sachsen
• Sachsen-Anhalt
• Schleswig-Holstein - except the Baltic sea coast
