State banquet in Bellevue: With a tiara and the jewels of the Queen: Camilla shines with a majestic appearance

The British King Charles III. is visiting Germany with his wife Camilla. On Wednesday, the Royals visited Bellevue Palace in Berlin, the official residence of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. In the evening, a state banquet was held there in honor of the royal couple. The gentlemen came in tails, but the special eye-catcher was the appearance of Camilla in a majestic attire.

The queen consort came in a black evening dress, which was all over embroidered with silver. It is a dress by designer Bruce Oldfield, who is also set to create Camilla's dress for the coronation ceremony to follow in May. Oldfield has worked for Camilla in the past and once designed outfits for the late Diana.

Royal fans also took a close look at the magnificent jewelry that Camilla wore in Bellevue. On her head was the diamond-encrusted Honeycomb Boucheron tiara, which Camilla received from the late Queen Elizabeth. The magnificent necklace also previously belonged to the late Elizabeth, who she received as a wedding present from wealthy London businessmen in 1974.

But that's not all about the tribute to Elizabeth: Camilla also wore a brooch with the image of the young Queen on her left shoulder. The jewel is the Queen's family order. The Garter Star, Queen Victoria's family order and the Grand Cross of Merit, which Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier presented to her, are also emblazoned further down the dress. Royal fans were mostly enthusiastic about the dress of the queen. "She looks truly majestic", "The Queen looks stunning", "Camilla is a ray of hope" were just a few of the many positive comments on Twitter.
