After being admitted to a hospital in Rome, Pope Francis had a quiet night, according to the Ansa news agency. The agency quoted sources from Gemelli Polyclinic on Thursday morning as saying medical staff were "very optimistic" that the Pope could be back at the Vatican in just a few days for Palm Sunday. The 86-year-old was taken to the hospital on Wednesday because of a respiratory infection, the Holy See said. A spokesman announced that he would have to be hospitalized for "a few days". Further medical details were not given for the time being.
