The new season of the RTL format "I'm a star – get me out of here!" starts on January 13th. After two years of Corona, the show is taking place again in Australia. That's where RTL brought the twelve more or less prominent participants. The star introduces them one after the other. Today: Lucas Cordalis.

Most people might know Cordalis as a musician, but his marriage to reality TV actress Daniela Katzenberger has also given him a new audience. Together with her and their daughter, he often appears on television shows. The family is accompanied in their everyday life. Fans love Katzenberger above all for her honest manner. Cordalis was in a relationship with fellow musician Jasmin Wagner for four years from 1997.

Cordalis had actually planned to get the jungle crown last year. At the time, he explained the emotional background of his participation to the "Bild" newspaper: "It has a lot to do with my father, if I'm honest. I do it to just be a bit close to him again. I miss him every day. He had a big place in my life. We spent so much time together professionally and privately. Our family situation was just brilliant, that's very, very rare. I know he'll be watching from above and I want him too proud. He'll see what I'm doing there," he said.

But just before it started, it was over again. A routine corona test shortly before moving into the camp turned out to be positive and Cordalis had to leave again. Now he's trying again.
