Film review: "Manta, Manta": Why the second part of the comedy with Til Schweiger urgently needs more horsepower

The HeldTil Schweiger is actually even older than his car, often mocked as a farmer's Porsche or a chav. He'll be 60 this year, so perhaps it's obvious that he's dreaming back to the beginnings of his career. In the original from 1991, Schweiger played the young daredevil Bertie, who likes to be shirtless or in a white muscle shirt. A little simple and naive, but the heart is in the right place. A kind of male blonde who wants to use the prize money from an illegal race to finance the fitted kitchen for her pregnant friend, a hairdresser, of course. So far, so much cliché.
