RTL is broadcasting the upcoming episodes of "Bauer sucht Frau" with one less candidate than previously expected. "Since RTL strictly distances itself from any right-wing radical ideas, the 'Bauer sucht Frau' candidate Sven was cut from the program because of his tattoos," said the broadcaster on Instagram.

He was one of four candidates for Loretta's master of horse management. The candidate wears tattoos "that can be assigned to the right-wing scene," according to the station's website. That's why he was "cut out of the already wacky 'Bauer sucht Frau' show". Loretta, to whom the candidate had been suggested, was unaware of the meaning of the tattoos.

RTL also explains how this could have happened at all: "The tattoos in question were not noticed during the preparations for the show because of the abundance of tattoos all over his body." After it was discovered, the broadcaster responded directly.

The new episodes of what is now the 18th season of the long-standing dating show can be seen on RTL and RTL every Monday and Tuesday from 8:15 p.m.
