Things are going like clockwork for Pietro Lombardi and his girlfriend Laura Maria: About two months after the couple announced that they were going to be parents together for the first time, the musician has now asked for the hand of his beloved – and of course she said “yes”, as she immediately announced on her Instagram account. With the all-important question "Will you marry me" behind her, which Lombardi asked her as a lettering in English and bedded on roses, she immediately proudly presented her engagement clunker.

"I love you and our little darling," wrote Lombardi to Laura's post. Congratulations came from Giovanni Zarrella, among others, who also commented happily on behalf of his wife Jana Ina: "When two people meet and it becomes a family. Congratulations from us." And Yeliz Koc is also overjoyed for her friend: "Omg!!!!! Congratulations, my darling. I'm sooooo happy for you!"

But Lombardi and his future wife don't just seem to be doing everything privately at the moment. Professionally, the two are increasingly starting out together. Since September, the two have been presenting their podcast "On Off" once a week, which is named after their turbulent early days as lovers and in which they chat about everything and everything. At the beginning of October 2022, Lombardi's own documentary series started on RTL called "Pietro Lombardi: Family, Faith, Love". In it, the star takes viewers on a quest for talent for his newly formed label.

Perhaps the greatest challenge aside from changing diapers awaits the expectant father in the coming year. He will sit on the jury in the 20th anniversary season of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" alongside returnee Dieter Bohlen and next to singer Leony and rapper Katja Krasavice.
