Jens was born in 1954 in Tübingen, Germany, and lived for many years in Frankfurt am Main. He worked as a Journalist, television writer and book author.
Together with his colleague and friend, Swan published Jens-2014 Heribert the book, "legacy – The Kohl protocols". The work on the memoirs, Helmut Kohl brought a long legal dispute with.
