Parts of a freight train landed early Saturday morning, unfortunately, in the potomac river near the town of Harpers Ferry, at the border between the states of West Virginia and Maryland in the UNITED states.

the Train was in the process of crossing the bridge ‘Potomach Railroad Bridge’, as part of the train fell into the water.

No people were injured in the accident.

the Bridge runs otherwise in parallel with a pedestrian bridge and is a popular place to visit for tourists.

It is here, many believe that the american civil war actually started back in 1859.

It is not yet known how the accident could happen - it is just now being examined.

the clean-up operation has already started.
