Jamie Dornan and Kirsten Dunst, co-stars in Marie Antoinette, reunited to chat at Variety's Actors on Actors roundtable and reflect on their time on the historical drama.

Dunst, 39 years old, recalls how uncomfortable it was to film nude scenes for the colorful feature that is based on the doomed queen of France in the 18th century. This report by the New York Post.

The Power Of The Dog actor played the title role, while Dornan (39) played Axel von Fersen – a friend from Marie Antoinette’s Swedish court. Both were 22 years old at the time of filming.

Dunst acknowledged that she was nervous throughout film production, particularly the nude scenes.

"All our stuff was like having sex, and that's not something I can live with." The actress stated that it's never been comfortable.

Dunst told Dornan that there was a sex scene with Dunst and another of her undressing. However, she also said that one scene made her feel uneasy. The scene was removed from the movie.

"I believe my first time showing my breasts was when I was in the company of Sofia Coppola." She didn't use the take and I don’t think she was there. Dunst told Dornan that she felt overwhelmed as well.

The Fifty Shades Of Gray actor responded, "That's crazy. You handled it very well. You seemed to be in complete control. We had to improvise and Sofia said that we only met when we were on the scene.

Dunst spoke out about her collaborations with Coppola in the last year.

50-year-old Coppola and Dunst also collaborated on the films The Virgin Suicides, and The Beguiled.

Dunst spoke out about the pressures she felt from producers to get her teeth fixed and how Coppola helped her self-esteem during a video interview with Netflix in December.

She said that she was amazed at how beautiful she looked when she was able to film The Virgin Suicides 1999.

Dunst was 16 at the time she shot the drama. She said that "[Coppola] gave me a lot confidence throughout my career in terms producers wanting to fix mine teeth...People just trying to manipulate young actresses in some way to make them the exact same."
"She made me feel beautiful, just as I was. That was a pivotal moment in my life."
