Helen George blasts the trolls that criticize her for filming Call the Midwife during pregnancy

The actress, 37, revealed that viewers had sent her cruel messages regarding her decision to work during her pregnancy.

The actor from Trixie Franklin wrote that he had seen too many absurd comments about his pregnancy while filming Call The Midwife. He also thanked the viewers for their lovely comments!

"Women get pregnant, our bodies change. We have the right to work, if we choose. Let's just support it and not question it.
One of the offensive tweets was sent by an account that has since been deleted. It read: "It is very unprofessional in me opinion, it's certainly not like it's filmed all-year round. It's only a brief window. If she is trying to get pregnant while filming, she should stop. It disrupts the continuity and aesthetics.

George's tweet drew a crowd of supporters to her defense. One commented: "Funny that nobody commented on my traveling to work everyday. But for an actress (who probably loves the job she does) it's an issue. People are too busy!

George's star Olly Rix condemned the tweet, writing: "Take a bow Fanny. The dumbest tweet of the night.

Another critic commented that "helen george looks so pregnant, it almost seems like they are trying to conceal it, but it isn't working very well."

Another fan spoke out and replied, "It was obvious that you were pregnant because you were absolutely blossoming. This did not detract from the storyline and we look forward to your return in the next series. Your character is a great one."
