"a few weeks ago, having known of the delay in the course of my rehabilitation initial, I had to undergo another arthroscopy fast to my right knee," wrote Federer, who will celebrate his 39 years in early August, on Twitter. "Now, as I had done before the season 2017, I plan to take the time necessary to be 100 % ready to play at my best level. The fans and the circuit will be much to miss me, but I look forward to seeing everyone again at the beginning of the season 2021, " he continued.
