Rousseau tells in his 'Confessions' that when he wanted to write a treatise on ethics, which he thought of titled 'Sensitive Morals of the Wise', he wanted to take into account all the circumstances that shape us as human beings, including things such as climate or nutrition. However, he soon realized that all roads would always lead him to
