From Friday 3 June to Sunday 5 June, the entire Solcanpo (Solidarity in the canton of Saint-Porchaire), will mobilize to meet customers at Intermarche in Saint-Porchaire or Carrefour Market Pont-l'Abbe -d'Arnoult. This is the so-called spring collection, which will be led by the local association that has been tirelessly working for the Departmental Food Bank for over twenty-five year.

Jean-Marie Bouffard was the original initiator of this action in the canton. He was a retired teacher and director at Saint-Porchaire's elementary public school. Solcanpo volunteers redistribute shopping baskets to around 100 beneficiaries every Tuesday of the odd week throughout the year. CdC Coeur De Saintonge supports this association, especially with the vital vehicle for transporting food.
