Rakuten Europe wants to strengthen its leadership over other competitors and today announced Monday the launch of a completely new loyalty program in Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom with the aim of bringing the group's services as well as hundreds of brands closer to consumers in a much more beneficial and practical way.

Rakuten.es, considered the hub of Rakuten in Spain, combines the existing services of Rakuten TV, Rakuten Kobo and Rakuten Viber with more than 700 popular brands such as El Corte Inglés, AliExpress, Booking.com, Fnac, MediaMarkt and others, within a robust user rewards program that will now be more consumer-focused than any other in Europe.

Until now, by shopping through Rakuten.es, users could earn up to 30% in Rakuten points and exchange them for gift cards, the latest movie releases on Rakuten TV, books through Kobo or credit in the Viber messaging app. Out.

But now, with Rakuten, users will recover money from their purchases, returning up to 30% of the amount of the order in euros.

Following the example of Rakuten in the United States, which has paid almost 3,700 million dollars in 'cashback' to its users, Rakuten.es allows its members to redeem cash on their online purchases in more than 700 associated stores following three simple steps :

1. Purchase: You need to log in or register on Rakuten.es to discover hundreds of brands and thousands of products from all categories.

2. Earn: Receive up to 30% of the total amount of the purchase back. Rakuten will track the transaction and credit the user's Rakuten account with cashback.

3. 'Cashback': Once the transaction is confirmed, the user can withdraw the money to their PayPal account or their bank account, or convert it into Rakuten points with an increase in value of 20% to exchange them for gift cards and other services from Rakuten.

In addition, in the group with Japanese origin, users can find the most current offers and coupons of the most popular brands. And with the Rakuten browser extension installed every time the user browses an affiliated brand, the extension will notify them of available cashback.
