Investigations: Wunstorf case: school sees no evidence of bullying

After the violent death of a 14-year-old in Wunstorf near Hanover, the school has so far seen no evidence that the victim was harassed before the crime. "From what we know at the moment, we cannot confirm the allegation made in the media that the killed student was bullied," said Kerstin Gäfgen-Track, the Oberlandeskirchenrat and responsible for the school, according to several reports. Nevertheless, everything will be done to "determine whether there may also be school backgrounds". External experts should also be consulted.

In addition, according to reports, a crisis team has been set up to coordinate the next measures for students and school staff. The prayer room should remain open and offers for talks should remain in place.

A week ago, the body of a dead 14-year-old was found in Wunstorf. An arrest warrant for murder was issued against the 14-year-old German suspect. Both went to the same school in the eighth grade.
