Aldo Moro is on his way to Parliament on March 16, 1978. There, the most important political project of the leader of the Italian conservative party is to be officially decided: the formation of a new government of the Democrazia Cristiana (DC), which would also have been supported by the Communist Party. It would have been a major breakthrough in the political climate of the time. This program is called a "historical compromise" in Italy. But the 61-year-old never makes it to Parliament.
