Jane Birkin: Concerts in Germany are cancelled

Concern for Jane Birkin (76): The English-French singer has to cancel her concerts planned for the next two months. The reason is "health problems", writes the organizer Semmel Concerts, among other things via Instagram. Three Germany concerts are therefore also canceled.

Unfortunately, the announced shows "on March 24 in the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, on March 26 in the Munich Isarphilharmonie and on March 29 in the Friedrichstadt-Palast cannot take place as planned". Replacement dates have not yet been planned. "Tickets can be returned where they were purchased," says Semmel Concerts. Further details on Birkin's current health status are not known.

Jane Birkin, who has acted in many films alongside her singing career, has released more than 20 albums in her long career. Her last record "Oh! Pardon tu dormais..." was released in 2020. She played her last leading role in 2016 in the Swiss film "Die Frau und der Schnellzug".
