Member States of the Asia-Pacific Economic Community (APEC) are expected to adopt a joint final declaration at their Bangkok summit despite disagreements over Russia's war in Ukraine.

This was announced today shortly before the end of the two-day meeting of Japanese delegation circles. The G20 group of leading industrialized and emerging countries had already agreed on such a joint declaration at their summit in Bali - despite the differences between the member countries on the Ukraine war.
