The MHP giants Ludwigsburg missed out on the round of the top 16 teams in the basketball champions league. The Bundesliga club gave up a 36:16 lead against Limoges CSP on Wednesday evening after the first quarter and lost to the French club 94:96 (51:39) after extra time.

As a result, the guests prevailed 2-1 in the best-of-three series. The Ludwigsburg team had won the first duel in the MHP Arena (85:81), but then lost significantly in France (62:82).
