this is the sound of the Claus von Elling, president of 3F Byggegruppen, Pokerklas in the wake of the violent demonstration that took place on a construction site in Copenhagen on Monday.

Byggegruppen in fagforbundet 3F organizes several of the professionals who were present at the demonstration on Lundtoftegade in Copenhagen, which developed so profusely, that a group of scaffolding and construction workers, among other things, toppled a large scaffolding.

Claus von Elling points out to B. T., that he does not know whether there was 3F-members among the group of construction workers, who expressed their dissatisfaction with the conditions at the construction site by means of violent clashes and extensive vandalism.

"But it does not change our position, that we take distance from violence and vandalism. Whether it is our members or not," says the chairman of 3F Byggegruppen and continues:

Claus von Elling reports that he does not know with certainty, what is the reason for the demonstration at the Lundtoftegade.

However, has 3F right now a pending fagretlig case against a company that has the Lithuanian employees, and which is alleged to have worked far more and get much lower wages than the agreement allows.

in Addition, there is a case reported to the labour inspection about the scaffolding, because it is illegal to move on. What has happened away and to the situation on Monday escalated, by the president, however, does not.

How will you avoid that something similar is going to happen again?

"We train our technical people in to argue and to negotiate. We does not train people to use violence, and we denounce any form of violence and vandalism," says Claus von Elling and adds:

"The attitude we have to all in society - not only 3Fs members."
