And now there is created a concise overview of what sufferings we have the largest urge to search on.

It has come forward in the first major mapping of the Danish searches of the health care system public fællesportal, health.dk. It tells the portal in a press release.

Health.dk has made a top-10 list of the most searched for diseases. In total there are sought 5.5 million times, and among the most popular is a surprise for professionals.

Generally flush sygdommenes location on the list of, how widespread they are. And the number one on the list is also folkesygdommen diabetes.

The logic, however, does not make sense for the list's third place, which is scabies. It explains Hans Christian Kjeldsen, who is a practicing physician and the editor-in-chief of Patienthåndbogen, which is associated with health.dk.

"I notice, however, know that scabies is on the third place of suffering, as we search on. It makes no sense in relation to how many people have scabies. But it makes fine sense in terms of what the media write, and how insecure you can be on such a disease," he says in the press release.

Scabies has received some media attention in connection with several outbreaks in the recent time.
