Both teams clinched their 19th win of the season. While the Pelicans (19:12) are third, the Jazz (19:16) are seventh. The Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies lead (both 19:11).

The Pelicans defeated the San Antonio Spurs 126-117 without their two offensive stars Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram. C.J. McCollum with 40 points and a personal best of the season. In addition, the 31-year-old guard contributed nine assists, eight rebounds and two blocks to the success.

The Utah Jazz defeated the Washington Wizards 120-112 thanks to a balanced team effort. The Wizards have now lost 11 of their last 12 games.
