There is damage to 50 residential buildings and an industrial plant. In the western Ukrainian region of Lviv, three rockets hit a critical infrastructure object. There were further hits near Kremenchuk and Kropyvnyzkyj in the central Ukrainian regions of Poltava and Kirovohrad.

Kyiv expects a massive rocket attack

The Secretary of the Ukrainian Security Council, Oleksiy Danilov, also said that Kiev expects a massive rocket attack on Thursday or Friday next week. On Thursday, Russia marks the so-called "Defender of the Fatherland Day". Friday marks the anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Since October, the Russian military has been using massive rocket attacks against the Ukrainian infrastructure, especially the power supply. According to the state grid operator Ukrenerho, however, there has been no power deficit for the fifth day in a row. Only in the southern Ukrainian region of Odessa are there power cuts due to the damaged grid.
