Iranian-French comic artist, illustrator and director Marjane Satrapi receives the prestigious Spanish Princess of Asturias Prize in the Communication and Humanities category.

The Princess of Asturias Prizes are named after the heir to the Spanish throne, are awarded annually in eight categories and are endowed with 50,000 euros each.
