The monarch and his wife Camilla (75) will be given a tour of the arena on April 26th. There they meet the creators and presenters of the BBC broadcast. The royal couple also speaks to Mae Muller (25). The singer will represent Great Britain at the home game in May with the song 'I Wrote A Song'.

According to the organizers, the stage set that will be presented during Charles' visit should give the impression that the ESC "opens its arms to Ukraine". With the British contribution "Space Man" by Sam Ryder (33) finishing second behind Ukraine in Turin 2022, the United Kingdom was chosen as the substitute host.

Charles and Camilla also visit another institution that works for war-torn Ukraine as part of their Liverpool trip. Liverpool Central Library celebrates its partnership with Odessa's Korolenko Chernihiv Academic Library.
