"Thank you very much! This is beyond exciting," writes Ana de Armas (34) in an Instagram story that was nominated for her performance in the Netflix biopic "Blonde".

The two nominated supporting actresses Angela Bassett (64, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever") and Jamie Lee Curtis (64, "Everything Everywhere All at Once") also spoke up. "I'm thrilled to be nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress [...] As an actress, you never know where a role will take us, but we can always choose where the role will take us," writes Bassett Instagram.

Curtis celebrates her nomination with a dance video: "The same dance I did both on set for the daily warm up and this morning when I heard the news that 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' was nominated for a Golden Globe." Curtis also emphasizes that such successes are "always a group effort".

January 10, 2023 will show whether those acting talents can also look forward to an award. The awards ceremony will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. US comedian Jerrod Carmichael (35) will moderate the event, which will be broadcast live on NBC and Peacock.
