Chryssanthi Kavazi: "GZSZ" break due to participation in "Let's Dance"

The 16th season of "Let's Dance" starts on Friday (on RTL and RTL). Actress Chryssanthi Kavazi (34), known from "Good Times, Bad Times", is dancing for the title "Dancing Star 2023". In order to focus on the training, she briefly interrupted the shooting of the RTL series.

According to the broadcaster, the actress had her last day of shooting for the time being on February 10th. RTL will broadcast the episodes with Kavazi aka Laura Weber until April. Then the character says goodbye "with a big bang" until June on the break. "What happens, no one will expect and will change everything," reveals Kavazi. She does not disclose any details. Only so much can be said: "Laura will not make friends with it again, fall back into old patterns and lose almost everything and everyone." The actress enjoyed "being able to show everything again".

But now she is looking forward to the "Let's Dance" adventure: to "muscle soreness, blisters on her feet, dance steps like catchy tunes in her head and lots of fun". Kavazi sees participation in the dance competition as an opportunity to "introduce yourself personally to the audience". After all, most of them would only know them in their "GZSZ" role.

She has been playing this since 2017 and quickly became a crowd favorite. But the German-Greek actress has other facets, as she demonstrated in the movie "Men's Day" (2016) or the TV series "Einstein". Whether she also has what it takes to be a dancer will be shown on RTL from February 17 at 8:15 p.m.

The 34-year-old will compete against model Anna Ermakova (22), cooking influencer and model Sally Özcan (34), Julia Beautx (23), known from the TV series "Spring" and YouTuber, ex-"GNTM" star and model Alex Mariah Peter (25) and Sharon Battiste (31), former Bachelorette and actress.

The celebrity gentlemen participating in "Let's Dance" this year are YouTube and Twitch star Jens "Knossi" Knossalla (36), mentalist and author Timon Krause (28), former professional gymnast Philipp Boy (35) , content creator Younes Zarou (24), star chef Ali Güngörmüş (46), handball star Michael "Mimi" Kraus (39) and comedian Abdelkarim (41).
