climate convention in Madrid, which pushed the heavy topics for the next year is unsatisfactory, says Dan Jørgensen (S).

on Top of the big climate negotiations under the united nations in Madrid the parties have not come to a satisfactory agreement.

More important issues are postponed to the next year and the final statement was vague on binding targets on the reduction of emissions of climate-damaging gases. The drawers environment minister Dan Jørgensen (S).

- It is a deeply unsatisfactory agreement. There is a big discrepancy between what science says we must do, and how busy we are, and as a UN system that can't agree on even modest improvements.

- So I am very disappointed about this here, says Dan Jørgensen.

He tells that it was once again a number of large countries, having halted the work in order to make a more binding and comprehensive agreement. Not least the UNITED states, which, under president Donald Trump absolutely has withdrawn from the Paris agreement.

- It means that there are other great countries that are more reluctant, than they otherwise would have been.

And so they are here talks about much else, and among other things also about the money. So there are some countries that have had some interests, they have not had the desire to give up for the climate's sake. We can only regret, says Dan Jørgensen.

One of the government's major arguments, that Denmark has adopted a klimalov and have put up a significant effort for the climate, is that we must be pioneers.

It does not change with the weakness of the agreement in Madrid.

- We go not only by the UN-road but has to cooperate with many countries around the technology. So we can affect in several ways, and there are other ways to go. But we would rather have both parts, the minister says.

More big decisions are pushed to the next year. The agreement in Madrid does not give great hopes that next year's meeting will be bidding on the revolutions.

- I feel that I have chosen to be an optimist. Although it looks very difficult out, if you make a kælderkold analysis of what has happened in Madrid.

- But those of us who actually go to the front, have to fight to the last drop of blood and do everything we can. And there were also positive trends in Madrid, concludes the minister.
