After nasty emails: Danish promoter closes

Closes. Finished. The end.

The Danish promoter QProBoxing have chosen to turn the key on and closes from today's date. Thus all the boxers in his stable released.

It informs QProBoxing in a press release that at the same time, explains that the closure is due to continuous harassment and threats.

"Since we incurred Quaestor Fight Night in Gilleleje, we have seen that there have been emails sent out to cities and companies, as we have been in contact with regarding new events," says promoter Svend Rasmussen, and continues:

"These e-mails containing violent accusations, as no team has in itself. Furthermore, we have indications that this information comes from an internal source."

for B. T. informs the press officer Mikkel Harbo Mousten, that these emails are personal attacks on Svend Rasmussen, without, however, he will go into detail about what it exactly refers to.

"Even if the allegations don't have anything on him, it was enough to, that it is impossible to find partners in the cities we'd like to make the rallies."

Although the case has been reported to the police under the Danish penal code section 266, which deals with threats, so that has a agree with management valgtat pull the plug.

"We must also recognise that the police have many other things to see to, so the prospects for that here we get a conclusion, is long. Unfortunately we cannot wait," says it.

Svend Rasmussen, indicating in the message also, to Thomas Møllenberg was ready to take over if Svend Rasmussen withdrew. But the past week has several unpleasant e-mails means that the Møllenberg will not lead QProBoxing on.

the Closure also means that all the boxers in the QProBoxings barn is now being released. A barn, which among other things counts the Danish Patrick Nielsen and Abdul Khattab. Thus they can now freely go out and find a new promoter.

"We had a dream to lead the Danish boxing back to a new heyday. Unfortunately, we must recognise that there are some who do not want that we are a part of the sport," says Svend Rasmussen.

It was the 4. July of this year, to QProBoxing held their first event 'Quaestor Fight Night.
