The Mossos d'esquadra have arrested on Monday a woman in Girona by drowning his daughter in the bathtub of the residence. The woman has called the emergency telephone number 112 near three in the afternoon to explain what he had done. The child, 10 years old, has been taken to hospital in critical condition. The toilets still practiced maneuvers of reanimation, but, according to sources close to the investigation, at no time has presented vital signs.

The event has occurred at around 13.30 hours at number 28 on the street Ronda Ferran Puig de Girona. The woman, of Spanish nationality, has drowned allegedly in the lower for reasons unknown. Two ambulances of the Emergency Medical System (SEM) have been moved to the floor and tried to resuscitate the girl. The Mossos d'esquadra, they also visited the place and have taken custody of the mother.

The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the police regional has taken charge of the case in order to clarify the circumstances of the homicide.
