Despite weeks of speculation, Meredith Grey seems to be staying at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Ellen Pompeo will continue on Grey's Anatomy.

Don't forget those "bon voyage” banners! Many characters took different paths in the finale of season 18 of ABC's hit medical drama, which was also its 400th Episode.

Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), quit following a very difficult day. This included a blood shortage, hospital losing its general surgery residency program, and learning that Owen Hunt was illegally giving pills to veterans as an assisted suicide.

Bailey stated to Meredith (Jesse Williams) that he had to first protect his health and my sanity. "I'm done. No notice. Pru and I have cookies for you. You heard me right: cookies."

Hunt, his wife Teddy Altman (Kim Raver), and their two children had to flee after word spread about Hunt. They were last seen together in first-class as a foursome.

However, that wasn't all. After finding out that Katherine Avery's cancerous tumor was responding well to treatment, Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.), walked off into the rain with big smiles on their faces. Jackson said that they were on a sabbatical to "see the Great Pyramids."

Oh, and the review board closed down the hospital's residency program. Many residents were left orphaned, including Levi Schmitt (Jake Borelli), Taryn Hem (Jaicy Elliot), and Mabel Tsang(Sylvia Kwan).

We'll be looking at another departure. We should also note that Wilson, Pickens, and Pompeo were all mentioned in Shonda Rhimes’ January statement as being returning to the show.

Who will stay?

Jo Wilson (Camilla Lundington) kicked Todd to the curb after a bad date. Her friendship with Atticus Lincoln ("Link") (Chris Carmack), proved to be enduring, even through unrequited feelings.

Caterina Scorsone revealed that Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone), was having trouble with Kai (E.R. Fightmaster) was mentioned in last week's episode. However, when they arrived saying they couldn’t sleep, Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) admitted that she was struggling with her breakup with Kai (E.R.

Talking of kissing, the return to Japril of Williams as Jackson and Sarah Drew in April Kepner was a sign of Japril's return! This week's episode showed that longtime lovers are still together, despite sparks flying once more during Williams' last episode last year.
