Two people died in the night of Monday to Tuesday, following a fierce fire that erupted in a building in the centre of Vincennes (Val-de-Marne), near Paris, told the Agence France-Presse the fire department. The fire, which was reported at about 1 a.m. and was extinguished around 5 hours, has mobilized more than 150 firefighters, said the captain Guillaume Fresse, spokesman of the Brigade of firefighters of Paris (BSPP).
Le Parisien states that the two victims are a woman, whose body was discovered on the second floor, and a 50 year old man, whose body was found on the ground floor. The latter is " likely défenestré ", according to the newspaper. The investigators of the prefecture of the Paris police are on-site. According to Le Parisien, the origins of the drama are still unknown.
