France has recorded 57 deaths additional related to the Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths since the start of the epidemic to 29 720, according to balance sheet released on Tuesday 23 June 2020 by the Directorate-general of health (DGS). The number of patients in the Covid-19 resuscitation continues at the same time lowering with 682 patients, or 19 fewer than on Monday, according to a press release of the DGS. Four regions (Île-de-France, Grand-est, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'azur, Hauts-de-France) comprise 74 % of the patients hospitalized in resuscitation.

The 57 new deaths announced Tuesday bring the total of deaths related to the Covid-19 19-232 in hospitals and 10 of 488 in the institutions and social and medico-social, including long-term care facilities. In total, 9 491 people are hospitalized for an infection Covid-19 and 117 new admissions were registered in 24 hours.
