On June 2, Emmanuel Macron celebrated "the return of happy days," and welcomed the reopening of cafés, bistros and restaurants, " part of the French spirit, our culture and our art of living ". On 14 October, he announced the establishment, for six weeks, a curfew from 21 hours to 6 hours in the morning in eight cities, since expanded to 54 counties where there are 46 million French citizens, devoting themselves to the winding up many of these same cafes, bars and restaurants as well as multi-cultural venues that result in their downfall producers and artists.
