Works of art: "Blue Night" illuminates historic buildings in Nuremberg

Graffiti art on the Kaiserburg and other light projections made Nuremberg's old town shine colorfully during the "Blue Night" on Saturday. At around 70 locations in the city, visitors could experience art and culture well into the night. Among other things, installations and performances by artists from Germany, Spain, France, Latvia, Poland and Canada were on display. As every year, a highlight was the illuminated castle facade, which this time was designed by the graffiti artist Hombre Suk from Mannheim. According to the city, more than 100,000 people come to the culture festival, which has been held in Nuremberg since 2000, every year.
