"Hyperolius parallelus" is a tiny creature, not much larger than a thumbnail. Nevertheless, the little frog with the camouflage pattern spirals up to a considerable volume in the evenings around the Savuti camp in northern Botswana, where the Angolan reed frog lives in the hundreds of thousands.
