Through the dog door, a coyote sneaks into a California family's home

Julie Levine, homeowner, said that although they know they can climb fences they didn't expect them to go through the dog door and enter the house.

After stumbling through a doggie gate, a coyote suddenly made an appearance at a California residence.

Julie Levine, a homeowner, told KTLA she was alerted by her family to the unwelcome guest after her "dogs went insane." She added, "I said it happened before with a rat. What else could be out here now?"

Levine explained to the outlet that they didn't realise the animal had entered their house until they checked their surveillance cameras.

She said, "They are definitely very brave, I mean to enter the house like it is their own." ... They can climb fences but we didn't expect them to go through the dog door and enter the house.

ABC 7 reported that the coyote stayed only three minutes thanks to Levine's three dogs. Then, it escaped, she said.

Levine said that he believes he went down the hall to see what he was up to and then skedaddled away from there. "The dogs caught the scent and they went crazy because they are beagles. That's why I looked at the security camera and discovered that it was a large coyote.

Another coyote attacked a dog belonging to a local family. Levine said that the incident occurred because Levine's son discovered it and pulled it out of its mouth.

Levine, the founder of Canine Rescue Connection shared footage and photos of the coyote via the official Facebook page.

"This happened Saturday around 1:00am. This happens to everyone, but it's a warning to keep your dog doors closed at night and to go outside with your pets during the day," she stated about the alarming moment. They are everywhere! They can scale walls and will enter your dog's door to get inside the house.
