Unknown persons allegedly shot several windows of a residential building with an air pistol or an air rifle in Edermünde in northern Hesse. A total of three discs were damaged, the police said on Monday.

The residents were in the house on Sunday when they suddenly heard several bangs. The background to the act is still unclear and also whether it may be an attempted dangerous bodily harm.
