A car caught fire on Autobahn 6 near Kirchardt (Heilbronn district) while driving. As a police spokeswoman said, half of the car burned out on Monday morning, the damage was around 4,000 euros. The driver was not injured.

The woman, noticing smoke coming from the vehicle, pulled over and got out, the spokeswoman said. Because of the fire, the right lane towards Heilbronn was closed for around two hours. In the meantime, traffic was backed up for several kilometers.
